Description

The king slatted base is 183 cm wide, 188 cm long and 28 cm high, sized for a standard South African king mattress. At this width the slat support does the real work: the metal frame carries pliable wooden slats that flex under load and keep the mattress level right across the bed rather than sagging between two sleepers. Rated to 500 kg.

The frame is wrapped in dark synthetic leather, which wipes clean with a damp cloth. Any standard king mattress will fit.

It ships flat in two boxes, 200 cm x 39 cm x 7 cm and 195 cm x 20 cm x 18 cm, 27 kg together, and assembles in a few minutes. For a bed this size that is the difference between carrying it in yourself and booking a furniture delivery.
