Description

The Plush Double measures 137 cm wide by 188 cm long and stands 27 cm thick, the standard South African double size. It is built on 660 individually wrapped pocket springs, so each side of the bed responds to the person lying on it and one sleeper turning over is far less likely to move the other.

Over the springs are a support foam layer and a massage foam layer, which is where the plush surface feel comes from while the pocket springs carry the weight. The mattress is wrapped in soft quilting and covered in knitted fabric. It takes up to 120 kg per person, so two adults can use it as a main bed, and it works equally well as a roomy single.

Delivery is in one box. The mattress is vacuum compressed and rolled down to 140 cm x 30 cm x 30 cm at 31.4 kg, so it moves through narrow doorways and passages that a normal double mattress will not clear. Unroll it onto a slatted base, a bed frame or the base you already own and let it expand.
